Here we go with this calendar month's collection of some of the top "moldiness-sees" that caught our eye,in zero peculiar purchase order:

* O nce again, D-Mom Stacey Simms ordered the time period Diabetes Podcast Calendar week tied in with promoting #SpareARose, and a whole list of D-podcasters including Stacey herself at Diabetes Connections took part. They'rhenium all worth the listen, with a range of topics covered representing many POVs in the community, in audio format.

* S peaking of D-podcasts, we'rhenium mad that longtime exponent and confrere T1 peep Cherise Shockley has now launched a novel podcast called Diabetes Moments through her employer Roche Diabetes. This series is meant to share D-related stories and advocacy efforts happening round our community — and we're proud to read that DiabetesMine was in the first whole lot of interviews recorded! We'ray looking first to sharp-eared more from around the DOC as this moves forward.

* T he end of an ERA is upon United States of America in the DOC, as T1 friend and old blogger Kerri Osmerus eperlanus has proclaimed plans to shutter her SixUntilMe blog this Spring after 14 years of posting there. We are incredibly sad to discover this news, but tranquillize fortunate to hear that Kerri plans to remain involved in the D-Community in various ways. On the far side her post on SUM about this change, Kerri is also sharing her fib on other platforms that includes this recent fun chat with Christopher Snider at his Just Talk podcast. We're sending a huge THANK YOU to Kerri for everything she's cooked over the geezerhood, and we look forward to seeing where she goes next.

* Many in the Homemade / #WeAreNotWaiting world of diabetes tech have been anxiously awaiting the closed looping interlingual rendition that deeds with OmniPod. That isn't come-at-able quite yet, just the splendid California D-Mom Katie DiSimone has some new info on where that complete stands. Sound out her See My CGM Emily Post for more detail there.

* O ur advocate-Friend Asha Brown divided up her story with Beyond Eccentric 1 for Eating Disorders Awareness Hebdomad in late February. Sense of hearing her talk about this theme and intentional BT1 is working and so closely with Asha's group, We Are Diabetes, is hugely important for our D-community, since we're Sir Thomas More inclined to these eating-related issues than non-D folks.

* W e love this one from D-Mum Joanne at Death of a Pancreas, WHO late ascertained "Pod-hockey" with the use of an "Omni-puck" in their home. Fun hooey!

* B eing inclusive and representative is so important in our community, especially when it comes to messaging presented to the general public and at diabetes-focused conferences where medical professionals are present. As well often, the words and images are faux-perfect, and then we pauperism to do better about joint the realities. Thanks to Stephen Shaul at Happy Medium for writing about that, after close to Chirrup discussion on the topic KO'd of the big #ATTD2019 conference that just committed in Berlin.

* C heck out this creative Instagram artwork that tackles the preventive number of access and affordability in diabetes, made by Escape Diabetes — World Health Organization turns out to be an incredible illustrator with T1D named Janina living in New Zealand! Her work has been shared widely on Instagram, including on the the Women of Colouring material in Diabetes page. Quite the talent, being able turn something so anger-inducement into a visual that brings smiles and laughs.

* L ast non least, D-peep Renza at Diabetogenic in Australia shares this very insightful post about how we live with and cope with fearfulness in the circumstance of diabetes, and how that is a learned demeanour and often evolves complete time. Food, indeed!
